From intimate elopements to celebrations of up to 50 guests, Glandyfi Castle offers a range of beautiful settings for your castle wedding in Wales. Choose the atmosphere that feels right for you, from the elegant Atrium with its glass ceiling, to the Dyfi Gardens; perfect for a romantic outdoor wedding ceremony. All ceremony areas within the castle are licensed for legal weddings through Ceredigion County Council. For larger celebrations, additional guests can be accommodated with hire of a luxury sailcloth marquee, provided by our trusted partner. Our team will take the time to understand your vision and requirements, working closely with you to create a wedding experience that feels seamless, personal, and perfectly suited to you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can we have confetti or fireworks?
Confetti is allowed only if it is natural, biodegradable petal confetti. Unfortunately, fireworks are not permitted due to neighbouring livestock.
Can you help us source suppliers?
Yes! As a dry-hire venue, we’ve taken time to carefully source trusted suppliers across our region we’re proud to recommend. Our recommended suppliers list includes caterers, mobile/pop-up bars, photographers & videographers, celebrants, wedding cakes, hair and makeup artists, florists, wedding stylists, vintage wedding transport and musicians. We like a challenge, so if you’re looking for something different, we will be happy to help you find the perfect supplier.
Can we bring our dog with us?
We welcome your furry loved ones to join you on your special day. Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed, please speak to us if you’d like to include them on your wedding day.
What days of the week can we get married?
We offer a midweek and weekend wedding package at Glandyfi Castle.
Midweek: Exclusive hire Tuesday – Thursday, wedding on Wednesday.
Weekend: Exclusive hire Friday – Sunday, wedding on Saturday.

Glandyfi Castle wedding packages include:

What is the maximum guest capacity?
Ceremonies for up to 80 guests can be accommodated within The Atrium or outdoor Dyfi Estuary ceremony area. The maximum capacity for a sit-down wedding breakfast inside The Atrium is 50 guests. For larger wedding receptions, we work with trusted marquee suppliers who can provide a structure within the grounds.
Can we have our legal ceremony onsite?
Yes, Glandyfi Castle is an approved venue for legal ceremonies with Ceredigion County Council.
